Viola Lillian Allen

January 12, 1925 - February 13, 2022

Viola Lillian Allen, 97, passed away peacefully in Orange Park, FL on 2/13/22. She was born on January 12, 1925 in El Paso, TX and moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1954. She and her husband moved to Bryceville, in Nassau County, in 1978. In High School, she played bugle in Drum & Bugle Corps and was a member of the National Honor Society and Lambda Sigma Alpha. Viola was deeply devoted to her husband and family, and all family members knew they could turn to her any time they needed support, a favor, or just someone to talk to. She was also a talented artist, and her family will cherish the lovely paintings, songs, and poems she created. Viola was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Allison Allen, her sons Baby Raymond, Mickey, Tommy, and Dennis, and her daughter Margaret Ruth. She is survived by her daughter Lillian Sessions (Jody) and her son Dr. Marcus Crenshaw (Tram); her grandsons Robert Sessions, Keith Sessions, Don Crenshaw, Thomas Crenshaw, Scott Crenshaw, William Crenshaw, LaRay Crenshaw, Jared Crenshaw, and Luke Pappas; her granddaughters Tammy Crenshaw, Yvonne Streeter, Desiree Vanderzyden, Vanessa Crenshaw, Samantha Duck, Josi Yates, Katrina Sessions, Phuong Ngo, and Uyen Ngo; her great-grandchildren Heather, Martrise, Kara, Brett, Seth, Aashley, Aaron, Mark, Jason, Alexander, Kesi, Skylor, Shade, Ashlyn, Mickey, Daphne, Brinan, Connor, Nathan, Matthew, Cameron, Devon, Chelsea, Kegan, Kyle, Brooklyn, Ashlyn, Marjorie, Aubrey, and Trey; her great-great grandchildren Alexander and Tommy. And a recent great-great grandchild Lyanna and many nieces and nephews.
