Robert Lewis Booth, Jr. 81, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on January 19, 2021. He graduated from Andrew Jackson High School, Class 1957. He was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church and he retired from The Florida Times-Union after 46 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ida and Robert Booth, Sr of St. Augustine, FL, a daughter, Kelli Booth, a sister, Mary Livoti, and a brother, Herman Cook. He is survived by his wife, Betty Booth (61 years married), daughter, Jennifer Whitehead (Wayne), son, Bob Booth 3rd (Marianne), and his grandchildren, Teaghan, Trey, Beckam, and Elijah, the lights of his life. He will be missed by many nephews, nieces, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin, 940 Cesery Blvd. Interment Services will be at 11:00 AM in Arlington Park Cemetery, 6920 Lone Star Rd. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project 3899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256
