Home Phimmasane (90), passed away on Saturday, March 12th, 2022 at Community Hospice in St. Vincent’s Hospital. She was born August 2nd, 1931 in Sabanghieng Savannakhet, Laos. In 1962, she married her late husband, Khamtanh Phimmasane. They later immigrated to the United States with their six children, in hopes of better opportunities. She who never grew old, her smile was made of sunshine and heart was solid gold. She was admired by her strength whilst the progression of her illnesses and her giving heart. She was more than delighted to be the central figure in the lives of her family. She is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measures. Home is preceded in death by her husband: Khamtanh Phimmasane; parents, Khampha Khamphase (father) & Mae Huang (mother). She is survived by her children: Phosy Phimmasane (son), Saleum Phimmasane (son), Phouvieng Phimmasane (son), Thongsay Miller (daughter), Oravanh Phimmasane (son), & Toukata Phimmasane (daughter); her grandchildren: David Phimmasane (grandson), Judy Phimmasane (granddaughter), Kobe Phimmasane (grandson), Andrew Phimmasane (grandson), Eric Phimmasane (grandson), Tharamany Phimmasane (granddaughter), Mindy Phimmasane (granddaughter), Amanda Miller (granddaughter), J.J. Miller (grandson), Samuel Miller (grandson), Kristine Phimmasane (granddaughter), Ritchie Inthavilaysuk (grandson), Anthony Inthavilaysuk (grandson), Sonny Phimmasane (grandson), & Cynthia Phimmasane (granddaughter); and her great grandchildren: Teive Phimmasane (great grandson), Enzo Phimmasane (great grandson), Serenity Phay (great granddaughter), Solei Phay (great granddaughter), Skylar Phay (great granddaughter), Riley Phay (great granddaughter), Kaylani Phimmasane (great granddaughter), Kali Phimmasane (great granddaughter), Kailey Phimmasane (great granddaughter), Kao Phimmasane (great grandson), Jianni Lovinaria (great granddaughter), & Kompton Do (great grandson). A Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home 1426 Rowe Avenue, Jacksonville, FL. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at the same location..
