Georges Saloum Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Georges Salim Saloum age 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 22, 2022. He was born in Marmarita, Syria on July 22, 1934. He was a loving son and a great father and a devoted husband to his beloved late wife, Katrin Ajram. He provided for his family as a teacher and while raising his family he obtained a degree in law. Then he moved on to practicing the law. In addition to being a successful lawyer he was a successful businessman as well. He will be remembered always as a person of principle and integrity who has always put his family first including his sisters and brothers. He was the wisest and most generous man we ever knew, and he will be missed dearly. Georges was preceded in death by his wife, Katrin Ajram and his parents, Salim and Mariam. He is survived by his four sons, Mazen (Elizbeth), Salim (Tami), Samer (Rana), Zaher (Nancy). He was blessed with loving grandchildren: Katherine, George, Patrick, Suzanne, Sara, Landon and Angelina. The Funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 26, 2022, at 11:00am at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church located at 6300 Bowden Rd. Jacksonville, Florida. Officiating Archpriest the Very Reverend Fr. Kamal Al-Rahil. Interment at: Greenlawn Cemetery at: 4300 Beach Boulevard.
