Diann L. Geoghagan Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

On August 10, 2021 Diann Geoghagan passed away due to organ failure. A strong woman throughout her life and fighter to the end, she was just 3 days shy of her 76th birthday. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on August 13, 1945 and adopted by loving parents, Michael and Edith Warder. In 1977 she married Gary Geoghagan, the love of her life and enjoyed 44 years by his side in a true partnership. She was a member of the LDS Church and faithfully lived her life always seeking the good and striving for the positive. After 29 years working as a telephone operator for BellSouth, she retired, began teaching preschool and eventually became a nanny which was her true calling. She was blessed to be a part of several lovely families and cherished being "Mimi" to all her little children. She was an avid crafter and spent many years traveling to the Mountains of North Carolina and Cruising to the beaches of the Caribbean but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. She is survived by her husband, Gary, her children: John, Chris, Josh, and Amber as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and countless friends. She will be missed by those left behind, each one being changed for the better by having known her. She was predeceased by her parents: Michael and Edith Warder, her daughter, Michelle, and Sylvia Higgombotham, her chosen sister.
