Charlotte Marie Bearden Johns, 74, of Jacksonville, FL, crossed over to Heaven on Dec. 28, 2020. She was born on Nov. 26, 1946 to her parents Junie A. Bearden and Earline Fowler Bearden, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her sister Vickie Bearden Gaston. She leaves behind her husband of 45 years, Thomas Wayne Johns; two children, Laura J. Ide and her husband Gary, and Russell K. Johns; and four grandchildren: Alexander Ide, Valleri Ide, Daniel Johns and Leah Johns. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, 2021 in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32211; Phone (904) 744-8422; with Dr. John Sullivan officiating. Receiving of family and friends will be 1 p.m. on Monday until the start of the services also at the funeral home. Committal services will be private. The family is asking that donations be given, in honor of Charlotte’s memory, to First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, 125 W Ashley St., Jacksonville,FL 32202.
