L'Tanya Lashelle Fritzner
(March 13, 1970 - May 1, 2012)
L’Tanya Lashelle Fritzner, 42, passed away with her husband, Charles Pierre Fritzner, II, on Tuesday, May 1, 2012. Mrs. Fritzner was a native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville. L’Tanya was a fervent disciple of Jesus Christ and was an active member of The Jacksonville Assembly of the Body of Christ since she was 13 years old. She graduated from The Jacksonville Assembly Christian Academy, had been active in PTA and as a teacher’s assistant. She enjoyed playing piano and flute and writing songs. She was an amazing cook and loved to sew. She was a loving and dedicated mother and loved spending time with all her family. L’Tanya loved her husband with all of her heart and they both lived life to the fullest. She was preceded in death by her father, Isiah Thomas. Survivors include her daughter, Diana Fritzner; son, Charles Pierre Fritzner, III; mother, Johnnie Mae Thomas; three sisters, Sharon Stewart (Robert L.), Anitria Garland and Velma Jean Thomas; four brothers, Ronald L. Brown, Roddrick Thomas (Rhonda), Wetzel Thomas (Sheila) and Taft Thomas (Amber); other loving family and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, May 11, at The Jacksonville Assembly of the Body of Christ, 6350 Old Kings Road North, with Pastor Darrin Dyal officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Avenue.
