HARVEY Robert Edward Harvey, 76, passed away May 19, 2012 in Jacksonville, Fl . He was born September 7, 1935 to parents, James H. Harvey and Bertha Oliver Harvey of Baldwin Fl. He was predeceased by brother, James H. Harvey, Jr. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 47 years, Peggy Harvey; sister, Geraldine Davis, sister, Betty Weaver, both of Macclenny, Fl.; numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Emma Miller of Cookville, Tenn.; and brother and sister-in-law, John and Francine Johns of Wartburg, Tenn. He served 6 years in the U.S. Army, was employed by Ryder Truck Lines for 36 years. Retired from Crowley Maritime Marine in 2006. He was a member of the Terry Parker Baptist Church, Jacksonville. His hobbies included woodworking and lawn care, also spending time with his pet kitty, "Boots." In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Terry Parker Baptist Church, 7024 Merrill Rd.
